History
Thanks to the inspiration and foresight of our founding members, Peggy Anderson, Maybelle Conboy, Azalea DeBold, Capitola Roberts, Sharon Trembley, and Nina Troyer, the Stumpy Lake Women’s Golf Association was formed in 1979. Today, the same passion for golf and friendly camaraderie established by that initial group continues as the current membership is 45 strong.
Membership
Membership is open to female golfers, 18 years or older, who can establish a USGA handicap of 40.0 or less…The membership consists of Active, Associate, and Honorary members.
Meetings And Playdays
Playdays are every Monday beginning in March and continuing through November. We have a Spring Handicap Tournament, Fall Championship, as well as Member/Member, Halloween party, and outings which include playing with a sister organization, Red Wing Ladies.
We welcome visitors.
